Distinguished by custom craftsmanship, Linea Pelle was internationally recognized for producing some of the finest leather belts and bags in the fashion industry.  Established in 1986 by Mira and Wynn Katz, the company appealed to consumers worldwide in channeling the distinctive LA casual lifestyle.

Linea Pelle captured the loyalty of an expanding consumer base through quality and design.  The genesis of Linea Pelle came organically. While managing their own sportswear line, Mira suggested an idea for a new fashion line that she felt was missing from the market:  fashionable belts for men and women. In the mid-1980s, vintage-style belts were unique had yet to find their niche in the market.  

The Linea Pelle brand was established in all major department stores and specialty boutiques internationally. While becoming a fashion leader and trend setter, the company remained flexible becoming a leading manufacturer of belts in the private label business.  Handbags and small leather goods were a natural extension to both the brand and private label.
